PHOTOJOURNALISM
Photos can truly tell a million stories. A photo for the cover of an article can draw in the reader and thus make it even more engaging. I have found from journalism that visually representing your story is perhaps one of the most vital parts. A well-captured photo can lead to a first click and first interest.

Below are some of my favorite shots from both within my journalism class and personal favorites.

This photo is one of my favorites. The composition and color scheme really stand out and capture the essence of the novel I'm writing about.
This photo involves natural lighting and props. The bright blue color paired with the dark black helps draw in the viewer's focus.

PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
This photo shows my attention to angle. I used the grass to focus. Unique angles such as these can make for really amazing shots.
This piece shows how impactful focus can be. By focusing on the plants, the manor becomes blurred, which can be used artistically to create a professional effect.
This photo of my pony shows how fun photography can be! With pets, it's all about timing. By extending my hand to gain interest, my pony reached his nose out to create this cute photo.
