MULTIMEDIA

Along with photography and design, multimedia is another great way to present information in a way that will entice audiences. Visual stories can be captivating and appeal to a majority of viewers. This year Hatchie Headlines took the initiative to incorporate our first ever Broadcast program, one that could address and highlight happenings around the school, announcements, safety guidelines, and students. This step in our journalism class allowed us to expand our influence across the school and experiment with new techniques including real-life interviews, editing, and recording.

Below are some examples of Hatchie Headlines' broadcast as well as promotional multimedia for articles.

Broadcast

The Hatchie Headlines broadcast is premiered at the beginning of each week, featuring school and sports announcements, student and teacher segments, jokes, and other various elements. To the right is one example of our broadcast. Our full broadcast collection can be viewed in the links below.

Video Promo

To the right is a promotion edit for my "A Rhee Revolution" article on Hatchie Headlines which featured 2 million follower K-pop dance Youtuber Lisa Rhee. I edited this video using iMovie.
